Following on from my posts in http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18142126...

The BBC F1 live stream here is only giving the text updates, no video.

The BBC News24 live stream here just displays the globe logo as a static image, with the message below that "Cannot play media. Sorry, this media is not available in your territory." Right...

All the Geo-IP / IP Lookup websites said:
Host Name: 194.116.198.179
IP Address: 194.116.198.179
Country: United Kingdom
Country code: GB (GBR)
Region: Essex
City: Basildon
Postal code:
Calling code: +44
Longitude: 0.4667
Latitude: 51.5667
ISP: Webroot Services Ltd

I've tested this on a few PCs here at work with different OS's, with multiple broswers, and its the same on all of them.

Ideas anyone? It normally works... seems to just be today?

well theres a certain event called the election, and as such the servers are most likely too overloaded to stream video at the moments as most of the population are probably on the bbc website right now :)

I'm running all three simultaneously without a problem. The Beeb said they were having record numbers of hits/connections so I would put it down to that.

1154: We're seeing unprecedented levels of traffic to the BBC News website - it's looking like more than five million users since midnight according to the data we have so far, and thousands of searches every minute on our constituency result pages, BBC news website editor Steve Herrmann says.

Live video on the election page is working fine for me.
