BBC1 The Diamond Jubilee Concert 7.30pm - 10.45pm

would you smile if your partner was in hospital

True, also you can bet there's a camera pinned on here and the others throughout the whole thing - she has to be bloody careful what she does every second. Think of all the cringing and eye rolling you do when you watch things that don't take your fancy.

Sure, avoiding eye rolling and head shaking at Cheryl Cole trying to sing is one thing, but if she was openly enjoying Cliff Richard then the headlines would be equally as bad... "Queen likes Cliff Richard but doesn't smile or enjoy any other artist put on for her".

How so? its her 60th diamond jubilee, its outside her house, she is the main party involved.

We would not have this celebration if it was not her Jubilee, so it is for her not us, we just turn up and watch the spectacle.

Let me rephrase... The concert is to facilitate our celebrating the jubilee. To that end, the choice of music is for the audience, in order to ensure as much enjoyment for as many as possible. If the queen enjoys it, great, but I imagine it's a far higher priority to not offend to her than to specifically please her, if you follow me.

Yes i was not expecting Metallica to play the concert (although that would be amazing), the choice of music was completely naff imo, i guess as long as people enjoyed it that is the main thing.

Robbie williams opening it was AWFUL. The stupid face he pulled whilst walking down the steps thinking he's hard and awesome, then opening his mouth to just shout incoherent lyrics. No wonder he's not been in the UK for christ knows how many years, utter ****

I hate Jessie J, but she really does know how to sing well live.
