My dad told me about a program he saw on BBC4 the other day, he couldn't say what it was called but said it was something about geology around the pacific/asia.

There were 4 episodes it sounds like and one focused on Japan. He said there was loads of stuff about Japan itself and then they went to Mt Sakurajima (sp?) to talk about Volcano stuff.

I've just come back from a trip to Tokyo and Kagoshima (where Mt Sakurajima is) and woudl love to see this so my other half can see it all as she didn't come.

He said it was being shown on bbc2 soon so I can watch it then, but I've no idea what it was called!

Any ideas??

I think it's called "The ring of fire" It's all the volcano/geology stuff from around the edges of the pacific ocean.

I associate ring of fire with something else

ouch :(

Journeys into the Ring of Fire (snigger).

Sundays, 8pm BBC2, the first one was last Sunday. It was Indonesia then and California this weekend, so the Japan episode should be after those :).

Yay cheers.

He said the Japan one even had a bit about Pachinko in it, finally everyone will know what I'm going on about!! (I won over £250 as well :) )

So, you're trying to say you've got balls of steel?

I had so many balls of steel they were spilling all over the place :)

Couldn't believe how many trays full some people had, although my mate was saying that's how they make a living! I only left as it was kicking out time, I'd have happily sat there winning more. Not the most exciting game in the world, but someone should open some places up in big cities here if they haven't already :)

Of course gambling is strictly illegal there, made me chuckle :)
