What happens when BBC Helicopter Heroes crew are filming and one of the dispatchers developed chest pain?

Cardiac arrest!

All captured on film and shown on TV, CPR included. Amazing that it's actually captured, it's a very good insight on how an arrest is handled and how much force is used on a patients chest whilst doing CPR.

I've only ever had a couple of people arrest in front of me, both having been arrhythmias that where shocked back in a matter of seconds. Most we go to are usually beyond getting back.

When I was taught to do CPR I was told there is something like a 90% chance that you will break ribs while doing it

LGI is my local hospital and where my mum was sent after she developed a brain tumor. Cant fault them.

Thankfully never needed our air ambulance.

Real eye opener for anyone who hasn't seen something like that, really hits home especially at the guy looks pretty fit and health at the time.

Why didn't they ring the ambulance ASAP, my dad had an heart attack while at work and rung my mum saying "I think I am having a heart attack" before ringing an ambulance wtf must be scary thing to go through was about 10 min ordeal before ambulance got to him, he is ok now, had a stent put in.
