Hi everyone, just to let everyone know, I increased the FSB on my Asus P5B Delux WiFi to 400, leaving all the voltages at auto. I reduced the CPU multiplier to 8 so I have the CPU at 3.2 Ghz and the RAM at 800 Mhz effective. I am getting better game performance than having a 333 FSB and 10 CPU multiplier (E6700). One thing I did notice however was that at 3.33 Ghz on auto Vcore, Asus probe reports 1.38 volts which is OK. At 3.2 Ghz, on auto Vcore it went up to 1.55 volts!, which is far too high. I had to manually reduce it and now it's perfectly stable at 1.34 volts. I'm glad I checked. I haven't a clue what the NB voltage has increased to or even what the default is. My temps are OK I think, CPU 41 idle, 50 load, MB 28 idle, 35 Load, although I might just stick in an extra fan over the NB Heatsink. I think the bios must assume that if the FSB is 400, the CPU is running at 4 Ghz and adjusts the Vcore accordingly. Under Control Panel/System, the CPU is shown running at 4 Ghz which I know is wrong.
