Hehe know the feeling im getting a CM ATCS840 and having it powder coated black inside and im thinking of this cooler on looks for it hehe.

O and does anyone know if the pro version comes with pwm splitter?

No.


1 of the fans has a fixed 4pin pwm that connects to the mobo , it splits here with a connector for the 2nd fan.

Its not a traditional splitter , i.e a Y shaped splitter that goes between the mobo and the 2 fans .

But it does the same thing.

Glad I'm not the only one :). How do you go about getting it powder coated? I was gonna get some black spraypaint and use that but I'm worried about it being patchy and being able to get the paint in all the nooks & crannies.

mrdbristol, that setup looks awesome! Definitely getting myself one of these, looks cool as hell.

I know of a shop online that does the powder coating I dont think I can post the name as its competition in some respects as they sell watercooling parts. I think the moderators will know who i mean if i say Tom's place ;)

Ah ok, if it's the place I'm thinking of it may be worth checking out some threads on similar forums... horror stories & pics :eek:

If you know better, just tell me to shut up lol. It's a good idea though and something I hadn't thought of. I've sent out a few emails to local powder coating/steel finishing companies to see what they can do. Sending my case out would cost a fortune, it's stupidly heavy
 
hmm haf 912 plus and bequiet is the same setup as i was planning on except i was going to side mount and have the top 200mm blowing cool air in and the rear fan venting the hot air so i can have postive air pressure.

among my other problems is finding a simple mounting mechanism so just how awkward are these coolers?
