Hi
Thinking of getting a socket 939 Athlon X2 and getting a new CPU cooler at the same time. I've got a DFI NF4 Ultra-D motherboard, PSU in the typical top of the case position. The Ultra D has the CPU socket orientated like this:
All the best CPU coolers seem to be these big tower affairs like the Tuniq, Noctua NH-U12F and Thermalright Ultra-120.
Thanks

- What's the best one that's suitable for the orientation of the Ultra-D?
- I'm seeing mentions of "back plates", etc. What are they and is that something I need to worry about?
Thanks
