You may or may not have heard about this website on the news but I find it interesting that they decline ugly people, this is pretty funny, I've never heard of anyting like this before, I first heard about this website after watching a documentry the other week and didnt think anything about it but then after seeing it on the news I decided to go to the website.

I havent signed up yet but I'm planning to later today, it will be pretty funny, I reckon I'll prob get declined for not being a brad pitt lookalike.

What do you think about this website? do you find it funny or not? are you a member? is it ilegal what they're doing?

I was talking to my friends about this and they said that the website asked its members to post new pictures about themselves after christmas and because some of the members looked a little bit more fat because of all the crap they'd eaten over christmas they got kicked & banned from the website! LOL!!!

I'd like to hear your thoughts about all this?
 
People know what to expect when they sign up to a site like that. I dont think you can complain if you have been involved in the rating process and let your looks slip a bit.

There was a thread about it a while ago when the BBC ran a story about British people being the ugliest in the world. I think one or two OcUKers signed up and got in.

Maybe OCuK should introduce a similiar system to new memebers and the quality of thier posts!

Its funny because the vast majority of people judging photos for entry are idiots. Pick a good angle, add some blur and play with the contrast and you're guaranteed to get in.

It's also funny because 90% of people take it with a pinch of salt and think it's a bit of tongue in cheek, but 10% actually think that they're actually worth more than others because they're "attractive" (and most of them are just plain and boring). Tres Amusante.

I believe Krooton is a member. Edited picture case in hand ;)

there's already been a thread on it a few days ago.

I think a massive factor in making somebody a 'beautiful person' is not thinking that they are beautiful, thus making the site completley void for me...

I made an account just to see if i could get in to inflate my ego, i was rated 8.50 something the last time I checked.
