Beckham quits as captain

Good and about time too, hes useless as a captain imho. If anything Terry should be made the captain...seems to have a bit more passion and fire in him.
 
Finally, give the captain's armband to a proper leader like Terry or Gerrard.

Beckham was never captain material in my books.
 
Terry or Gerrard, as they already have experience as club captains.

Wouldnt surprise me if Owen becomes captain as he has been on a number of occasions when Beckham hasn't played.
 
Although id like to see Gerrard, id probably say Terry. If you give the captaincy to Gerrard or Lampard, it would be almost impossible to drop either of them.

But i think it'll be given to Lampard...
 
He's great Becks, I think he's been good for England. He's even turned into a good spokesman, who'd have thought that at the begining of his career.
 
cant see lampard getting it myself. After this world cup i'd say his place in the team will be under scrutiny so I cant see him getting the armband
 
Terry. You cannot drop your captain, and that has been one of Englands biggest problems in the past few years. Terry will not be dropped. His form is consistent.
