Hi guys,
I'm just in the middle of redesigning our bedroom, and one thing i would like is speakers in there. They don't have to be fantastically loud, and nor am I an audiophile, but would like something half decent thats not going to break the bank. The only thing is, i'm limited on space. So i thought about putting some ceiling speakers in. I have a Sonos Play:5 in the kitchen, what would i need to hook this up to the bedroom speakers? and what ceiling speakers would you recommend?
Thanks
FP

How cheap? The Q Acoustics 2020i's are meant to be good. I've just ordered some in a 5.1 for my bedroom.
I don't know anything about ceiling speakers. Maybe you would be best to ask over at AV Forums as well?

At £250 for wireless, amp and speaker all in one compact box, plus the fact that you already have Sonos elsewhere I'd have though that the Play3 would be a no-brainer.

Cheap ceiling speakers are just that. I've listened to and tested enough in 10 years working in the home AV installation trade to say that you definitely get less than you pay for with cheap speakers. Even with cheap speakers you still need cable, an amp and a source. So that means a Sonos Connect with a third party amp, or a Sonos Connect Amp. Either way it'll cost more than the Play3.

Buy the Sonos wall bracket or put up a small shelf. Simple install. Quick. Cost effective. Job done.

I just bought a Play3 and love the thing. You can buy a bracket and mount it to the wall/ceiling to save space. I think they look pretty pleasing too.
