Yeah, I'm gonna put an email out at work tomorrow, just to test the water, but if not, I might well go on saturday, I can't afford the whole car outright, but there's no way I'm going to look at an available car PCP scheme, might pop into the bank after work tomorrow and check out borrowing rates, hopefully should be able to pull something nice out of the air! :)
 
Pumaspeed are popular because they advertise a lot in the mags, they are very good at promoting themselves left right and centre and getting involved in 'tuner shoot outs' etc.

The really big boys on the Ford tuning scene (the likes of Reyland, SCS, Andy Gallacher Motorsport, MA Developments et al, mostly Cosworth specialists but perfectly capable of tuning the 5 pot lump in the Focus) don't advertise at all in the mags...they simply don't need to, their cars speak for themselves!

In a Fiesta shootout Pumaspeed had a Map that would only idle at 2000rpm, to try and make the "claimed 182" with aggressive timing. Of course the MP185 absolutely thrashed it. They also kept moaning that one of the other guys with a home built car was "cheating" to beat them... like errr :rolleyes:

im sure i recognise that name from another Motors Bust up, where he would drop in funny/weird comments like that.
