Your correct, there isn't a reason.
Vega might give them a reason.

Ye just typed they be like:The fact that they still have no competition from AMD gives them no motivation to drop prices either.
With rescent show on pair with one year old 1080 welll nv wont need 2 do **** but amd will need 2 sell vega at low price and they wont be making descent money on it either since... Its more expensive to produce than 1080 for startersYour correct, there isn't a reason.

Pretty much, I prefer to get in when the product is released to get the most out of the lifespan of the product however sometimes that is regrettable because of early adopter issues.so, one year later, we're back to the same conclusion. Buy whatever you need, whenever you see a deal you like, don't wait, as it's pointless. Does that just about sum it all up?
I got lucky and bought one for £275 second hand just over a month ago. Felt pricey at the time but feels cheap now...
Saw deals on things like the RX 480 devil for $200, now they are wayyyy over $400 for the same ******* thing. Nuts.
If the companies are selling them... then were is the supply? AMD should be rolling in cash if the 'craze' is that high.
