Being flashed on the continent - likelyhood of ticket?

Got flashed on the way back home in Germany yesterday. Probably doing 40mph at 3:30am in a 30/50kph zone. I'm guessing on the speed limit as I dont recall seeing any signs entering the built up area zone, but the speed limit system entering German villages/hamlets wasnt confusing so no moans from me.

Anyone been on the continent, got flashed and not heard anything? Or can I expect to get a letter in a month or so?

doubt ypu will hear anything, at worst you'll get a fine, dont think they can give you points.

It's highly unlikely that you'll hear anything of it.

I've been flashed in France several times this year, and not heard anything back.
