Loved the first series and hope the second is just as good. The only worry I have is the story. Like many TV programs a big part of series one was the character development and now we've established who they are and why they're like how they are the writers will have had to put all their efforts in to the story. Just hope it doesn't go the way of Heroes and the like and fall flat on its face.

Looking forward to it, although these kind of programs will always be disappointing because the series are too damn short.
I'd guess at 6 again?

8 x 1 hour episodes.
but i really liked it, season 1 seemed more dark comedy 2 so far (ok its 1 episode) seems to be just dark which is fine by me

I really enjoyed it. Felt more adult and much darker, as mentioned above, and it looks like we'll have a few stories to keep us interested.
I dont know I'm not getting a good feeling from it. I'm getting shades of it trying to be too big too epic. Its like they've said we need baddies whom have secret volcanoe lairs, and lets have threat tons of threat but not really because the characters cant stand up to the threat.
I'm thinking their will be lots of rollercoaster stuff with them trying to wring every last drop of emotional trauma out of the audience. I liked the original because it was more down to earth and about being human. I could be wrong though.

That was a fantastic episode. They've been building up the story quite nicely over the last few weeks and tonight they unleashed hell. Really hope we get a full on blood bath to conclude the series next week

Right now there are 2 seasons of "being human" ....
Im 100% sure there was a series of the same name or similar name that ran for 1 season? or 1 episode (pilot?) that had the same storyline but different actors....
Or did i slip into another universe where everything is similar but different and then go back again?

There was a one off pilot episode which was excellent. This did well enough to merit the production of the series...
The actors for the ghost and vampire were different in the pilot.

I remember the pilot, good times. What happened to the pilot showcases they used to do?
That pilot frustrated the hell out of me. I though it was the beginning of a new series, so watched it... Loved it... And then went to record the rest of the series only to get utterly confused as to where the rest of the series was, especially as the pilot ended in such an open way!
