Hi guys
Hopefully this is in the right forum!
I have a friend with the router mentioned. He's had it a couple of years, but has just bought a wireless adapter for his X360.
The 360 sees the network, and he has entered the WEP key and, in the network settings on the xbox it shows as "connected" when he clicks on the wireless section near the bottom of the page.
However... in the IP/Gateway and DNS settings it says they are all 0.0.0.0 and when he runs the Xbox live test it fails immediately at the second test (this bit says he isnt connected to a network, yet in network settings it says he is)
Hes tried rebooting the 360/router etc to no avail.
Is there a setting he should be looking for in the menu to allow the router to assign his xbox an IP/DNS and Gateway?
Thanks in advance
Lee
