Screen has just come, been and bought that mini DP to DP cable, just gotta finish off a few more jobs today locally then home to hook it all up.

oh I don't think I can hold out much longer! please roll on March the 19th so I get some reviews of what freesync is like, then I can buy this monitor already!!

Monitor is absolutely epic. One little thing that bugging me though, I can't get the UFO test to run at 144hz. Ive applied the patch first, then ran CRU by Toasty, added the new profile at 143.950hz and restarted pc. CCC sees the monitor at 144hz and all looks right, but when I run the UFO test, it only shows 60fps and 30fps. Any idea?

Just tested on mine and it does 144hz. You checked these?

GPU acceleration enabled in browser. For Chrome, everything enabled in chrome://gpu

For Microsoft Windows 7 (or Vista), keep Aero enabled for better VSYNC performance.

checked chrome://gpu, this is what I get

Graphics Feature Status
Canvas: Hardware accelerated
Flash: Hardware accelerated
Flash Stage3D: Hardware accelerated
Flash Stage3D Baseline profile: Hardware accelerated
Compositing: Hardware accelerated
Multiple Raster Threads: Disabled
Rasterization: Software only, hardware acceleration unavailable
Threaded Rasterization: Enabled
Video Decode: Hardware accelerated
Video Encode: Hardware accelerated
WebGL: Hardware accelerated

Should multiple raster threads be enabled? And how would I do this?

I didnt have "use hardware acceleration enabled when available" ticked. Working a treat now, 144hz clear as day :)

Can I ask what colour and picture settings you're using please Ayahuasca

Until freesync is here I have blur reduction turned on.

FPS 1 picture mode
Black equalizer: 0
Colour vibrance: 10
Low blue light: 0
Instant mode on
Brightness: 100 (might be too much but blur reduction lowers this a lot)
Contrast: 50
Sharpness: 5
Gamma: 5
Colour temperature: Normal
AMA: High

Bare in mind these setting are probably dreadful for proper calibration but it looks ok to me :)

not to dissimilar to mine, although I like Black Equaliser at 5 and Colour Vibrance at 13. I like a little more colour. Blur Reduction on for me as well for the time being, until the 390x arrives and I can jump all over that and Freesync

I've actually been playing around with it quite a bit this evening. I tried out dropping blur reduction to see how it looked in games as blur reduction does make the screen pretty dark even when you turn up brightness to 100. I cant see any blur at all playing BF4 at 144hz, none at all and the screen looks much nicer to me, I kinda prefer it.

I'm running

Blur Reduction - Off
Black Equalizer - 0
Colour Vibrance - 12
Blue Light - 0
Instant Mode - On
Auto Game Mode - On

Brightness - 50
Contrast - 50
Sharpness - 7
Gamma - 5
Colour Temp - Normal
AMA - High
Dynamic Contrast - Off
