Scuzi did I read elsewhere you had a skyhawk watch? Any idea what the warranty is on it as my bezel's jammed

I had a nighthawk. IIRC the warranty was 3 years but don't quote me on that.

used to do all nighters at work, till i found out i was being a mug. If your being exploited let senior management know. Took me nerley 4 years but it was worth it in the end.

Nah I'm not.... We all take turns to do 'em. I'm in consultancy and due to the nature of our work (Project based) it often involves some night shifts every so often

No I have a couple of part time jobs, I just decided not to continue my course as computing appears the most boring career path possible.

Depends on the job you get at the end TBH

IT consultancy- basically travelling around all kinds of places (around the globe) working on projects for telecommunications companies... I've only been here since Feb though.

We make software for mobile phone handsets, voice mail and e-mail servers, mobile internet gateway software, and tons more. In fact if you have a phone that's not Nokia or Sony Erricsson you probably use our internet browser, and every time you use the net on your phone thare's a good chance you're using our software as a gateway.

At the moment I am involved in a project for a UK based company where we are re- jigging their voicemail setup-it needs to be done at night as their servers are too busy during the day so it's pretty boring actually but some of the work is very interesting!

As for pay... more K than my age which is not bad but we also get a heck of a lot of free stuff and perks that makes it a nice package overall

How long did it take before you got paid like that and how many qualifications did you need?

I'm 23 unless I've fallen asleep and it's now 2009 The figure isn't far off though.

Got that job and pay straight out of (a reasonable, not good and definately not great) uni with a First Class Hons Batchelor's degree.
