As per the title but in relation to value for money and battery life as I'm not really a 'multimedia' kind of guy, I'm a email, web, spreadsheets and charts kind of guy.

I prefer the 1366 x 768 over the limited x600 10" screens.

I got a dell 11z with 6cell battery, 250gb hdd, 2gb ram and win 7 home premium for 299 delivered :) so far so good, the gfx might not be as good as ion but the cpu is better than atom, and is still capable of HD video

What's the screen quality like?

Just noticed as it's a Celery it EATS battery life, users reporting 2-3 hrs - kinda defeats the point of a netbook, no?

The 11z is not well liked. Celeron advantage is negligible, awful trackpad, low chassis quality and battery life that fares badly, even compared to full blown laptops.

It's a shame as it looks so good on paper :(

Screen quality imo is superb

Getting near 6 hours on mine with the 6 cell and the trackpad isnt as bad as its been made out

One of the Dell Mini 10s can be configured with a 1366 x786 screen, I don't think the 10v can though.

Being 10" should be smaller then most.

I'll take a look, retaining 10" with a larger screen is good.
