nickel and copper are fine afaik, all nickel blocks are actually just copper blocks which are plated.

Oh. thats interesting

I quite like the koolance 680 block though... might have to add it to my basket along with the CPU block ^.^

370SI has only got the cold plate nickel plated!
CPU 370 is the one with most of the parts nickel plated.

The cpu-370SI is the newer(and cheaper) version. They perform the same but the new one has accetal top instead of being entirely made of metal.

You know Koolance are going to have high quality nickel plating because the main reason they nickel plate everything is their watercooling systems use aluminum radiators. nickel + aluminium = okay, copper + aluminum = not a good idea.

Don't get an aluminum rad, even though the blocks are nickel plated. They use them in systems such as this http://koolance.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=668 which combine pump, reservoir and radiator.

Looking on their website all their standalone rads are copper but they seem hard to find in the UK, probably easier to stick to ek, xspc, alphacool etc for your radiator.
