Best 26" Monitor?

Can someone recommend me the best 26" monitor?

Its for purely gaming and movies on a bluray drive.

I will be gaming at 1920x1200 resolution so that is a must.

Budget is £400 - Note. Can push if necessary.

LG W2600HP would have been very good for that with H-IPS panel and very low input lag but availability seems to be about non-existent.
Hazro lacks backlight brightness control destroying black and also contrast after you've adjusted brightness.

NEC's WUXi again is simply expensive and has ~30ms lag.

Viewsonic has new 26" IPS coming so you might want to wait for it.
Basing to connectors and specs it might be quite similar to LG.

Both TNs.
When looked from straight in front of the monitor darker end of colour palette tries to black out in top edge while at the same time deepness of dark colours is lost at bottom because of brightening up:

I've just got hold of a 24" Dell 2407WFP revision A04, only tried Quakelive at the moment but i didnt detect any input lag...will report back once Steam is up and running and see it CS Source is ok.

id say go for the hanns g or hannsspree as its also known 28 inch for around 280 seems a bargain and heard good things about it
