Best 6950 card?

No idea at all, but I wouldn't think ATI would take too long to correct it, as I presume they are dropping 6970 sales because of it.

As I say, I don't know at all, and probably pretty much all of the cards are still able to flash to 6970 at the minute. But you never know when they will 'laser' them or when OC will get a new batch of these.
 
It's a good selling point of the 6950's so ATI may not laser them anyway. Also prices are creeping up on them so they may be happy to be getting the sales, positive feedback and advertising that these cards have produced.
 
I'm going to get Sapphire then but what I can see there are two versions. One has a big central fan and one has a picture of the woman on it and a small red fan to the right. The big fan one is over £20 cheap though and I don't know the difference. Can anyone explain please?
 
Nah I'm talking about 6870's but I thought I might as well talk about it on this thread as it's related rather then start another one. I'm not allowed to post links for other websites so I can't really but they are on ******. If you go components > graphics cards ati > ati hd 6850 / 6870 then shorten it to sapphire brand only and there is 2 6870 types. I can't see difference :S

OK so I'm not allowed to name the website either. I'm not sure how to tell you then unless you figure it out for yourself.

I like the look of the msi twin frozr, benchies,temp and overclocking all look good, if it can be flashed thats great but if not then so what, it will overclock to match a 6970 anyway

Installed in 2 mins, flashed to 6970 and not one issue since.

I really don't think it makes any difference which one you get, only the warranty differs.

get the cheapest!!!

They are all by and large the same rma service, some might come with a few more connectors you very likley wont need, but you pay for the same card overall barring the twin frozr.
 
if you send a gfx card overseas its worth getting insurance, i had a 7800gt go missing on rma, got money off royal mail instead after a delay :)

i just went with the cheapest, vtx from ocuk
