best air cooler for quad

buying a quad core soon like everyone else here in 3 weeks time (my first intel).

My question is whats the best air cooler to put on a quad?

Titan Amanda, uses TEC, but is still air. The Noctua NH-U12F aswell. Basically, you have to think very top end to keep these quads at a respectable temps.

I used a ninja then swapped to the Amanda TEC, its been faultless and dropped my loads by 10c+. Well worth the expenditure imo.

yeah the amanda is good, got one for opty, thx guys pretty much i was expecting.

Agreed, best expenditure I've made for cooling aswell.

thermalright Ultra 120 is pretty good too, provided you get a decent fan for it
