Best Albums of 2012

So we're coming to the end of the year in a few months, what have been your best album of the year?

For me it'd have to be Muse - The 2nd Law

It's not a great album, but compared to everything else it's far better. It's been a year of disappointments IMO ... I'm looking at you Mars Volta
 
Celldweller - Wish Upon a Blackstar by a long way for me.

Metric - Synthetica
InMe - The Pride
I Will Never Be The Same - Tornadoes
Julien-K - We're Here With You
 
So far my top 5 would be...

Cattle Decapitation - Monolith of Inhumanity
Gojira - L'Enfant Sauvage
High on Fire - De Vermis Mysteriis
The Devin Townsend Project - Epicloud
Anaal Nathrakh - Vanitas

Is very likely to change though before the end of the year.
 
By far and away best album of 2012 for me:-

Celldweller - Wish Upon a Blackstar (Deluxe Edition)

Also:-

Celldweller - Soundtrack for the voices in my head Vol 2.

The live album also very good. Excellent year for Celldweller fans.

Other than that, I spent a good few weeks getting into
Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds.
