BEST AUDIO/VIDEO MEDIA PLAYER?

Just looking for what people consider to be the best not including WMP

wmp is one of the worst imo

media player classic for video -tiny player, works well, install ffdshow too
winamp lite for audio

other people will suggest itunes for audio and vlc for both!

as for music, i love foobar but it's hard to recommend as it looks crap out of the box and puts most people off. but if you're willing to invest a little time and effort in it then get that.

if you want an easy life, i guess winamp is the best choice.

WMP classic for vids.
WMP 11 for music ( sorry but I got used to media library since the 1st wmp that had it)

I like zoom player - seems to be able to play most things I throw at it. Has even managed to play some things that foxed VLC at times (tho, to be fair, the reverse is also true). The playlist is good as well, which sounds simple but it's something I've found quite a lot of media players have trouble with.

I used to use VLC and winamp....but ever since WMP11 has come out I have loved it...especially the way it deals with the media library.
