As subject really. With the release of the x1950pro Ultimate I'm a little clouded as to the best bang for buck out there against the others in the range. So, what would be best per £ of the following:

X1950pro
X1950pro Ultimate
X1950XT

Cards will be going into an ASUS A8R32 MVP.

cheers folks

X1950XT overclock it to a XTX and you can throw any games at it. I bought my HIS X1950XT yesterday and should atleast reach XTX speeds. But im not allowed it till my bday :(. 7 days to go yay :).

im thinking about getting 1950pro on here for £135, how does it run games like far cry, doom 3, BF2, company of heros etc?

i play company of heroes with it at 1280x1024. on mine it runs really smooth. i have every detail set to max excpet the 2 that have an ultimate option. i have them on next setting down and there is a slider bar for character detail or something and i have that on 1 below max. dont know why but when i had it on max game dint start. wierd lol. anyway looks awesome and runs smooth

if you have a really large monitor then you may wasnt to spend a lil more maybe due to higehr res.

I can get the 1950XT for £30 more - I might just go with that. Having said that though the Ultimates are supposed to be amazing clockers.....*goes hunting for reviews :D

sapphire 1950pro all the way cheap as chips at £135ish on here.

cracking little card

Agreed. :)

Id edit the above, as the x1950 XT is about £55 more than the x1950pro on here, so thats competitors pricing your mentioning which isn't allowed. :p

All 3 cards mentioned are great value.
If on a tighter budget the X1950Pro is a great card to get.
But if you have a little more to spend i would look at the X1950XT ....

Agreed, but it's not from a competitor - the XT is nearly new but essentialy 2nd hand. The rest are new options.
