Got a spare 1156 board with a i5 750 , though its a OEM board which wont overclock , so CPU will run at stock with its boost upto 3.2 ghz .
Looking for a cheap no frills card which will run every game on a single screen at decent quality , I think this is the best in class , was going for a 560ti , but Am attracted to the games that come along with it . As wanted both for my boy for xmas .

Also Need a cheap case , Im not sure which would be the best for this card since it vents all around inside the case rather than out the back .
Cheers guys just need a bit of thumbs up or not before making order .

Thumbs up for that card. I have had a few cases in my time but not sure on the cheaper side of the cases. Look for one that has holes for cable tidying and intake and exhaust fans.

Looks like the one you've listed is the best card at that price.

How much are you willing to spend on a case?

I was looking at these two ,

I like the grills at the top considering the GPU vents inside , unfortunately the alpha version is out of stock , whilst the beta doesnt have the upper grills , I wont be putting fans in though it is nice to have the vents for the heat to rise out of their .
However the £40 version may be the one , since it is reversed , although strange , the right sided vents would suit its position better cause the left would be ideally blocked by the wall .
Since it has no window I dont think neat and tidy cable management is all important , though I wonder where i could get dust covers , but then again there is no substitute for getting me pastry brush duster out every now and then .
Also 4 USB"s at the front is handy , I dont like shuffling to the back all that much

I would suggest you have a consideration for the following:

on the cases i love the outlaw but its not value for money ><
maybe look at the corsair 200R its about the same money as the zalman, and as much as i hate corsair it does look a bit nicer

While that Corsair only got 1 front intake and 1 fanat the rear as exhaust...but to be honest these old model Corsair stock fan are well-known to be noisy and which quite a lot of people would bin and replace with better fans.

oops my bad sorry rossi enjoy sleeping dogs :)

TBH they for me son , i get annoyed playing games , but he wants that , and farcry so i built everything around that , as would have had to buy them anyway for xmas .
The previous card he was using just has run out of steam , a GT220 used to play everything but just overheats now and cuts out at 105 degree"s even playing roblox , so have to temp swap over to a 775 celeron with built in graphics on the MB till I build this .

ah gt220 isnt a gaming card
might be worth seeing if the fan is broke on it or something if its getting that hot, might still be a great card for desktop/media

It was our first card , in our first PC, since our commodore amiga 500 .
Its had 3 years of being used 24/7 as a gaming card , so its well and truly thrashed , the fans good , and iv replaced the cooling compound a few times when cleaning , its just been pushed to hard , and is now time to put out to grass I think .
When it was new you could play everything on it even crysis , but now browsing is as much as it can take .
I hope iv made the right decision , the 7850 will play all games decently on a single screen , it doesnt have to be a benchmarker , just give all round gaming entertainment . as a alternative pc with a i5 750 .

why you quote me here, this pic doesn't even show a 660 xD

but yeah that 7850 will be fine too, gd choice

Thanks , Now im just left with the decision should the 7850 2gb or the 560 ti 2gb go into the number two PC with better spec , or go into the number 3 PC ?
As I have a little bit of work to do when they arrive with the other bits , so nows the time to put everything in order .

The number two is a 1156 i5 750 with a proper board , W/C and overclocking , whilst the Number 3 is a i5 750 but being a HP OEM has to remain at stock without a bios .
