As title really looking at building a new ITX occasional gaming rig
probably based on the SG05 case (so I know 6950's wont fit)
considering a 560ti , but wondering if people had any other options ?
Will be used on a 1080p tv so no multiple monitors or higher res than that
Would like to be able to play BF3 on high detail with very good FPS and with as low power/noise as possible

For occasional use a GTX460, 6850, 6870 and GTX560 will run absolutely fine at 1080p resolution. Each of these cards reference designs are 9" or shorter, 9" being the max length supported by an SG05 without needing to use a Dremel.

If you are on a tight budget look for a used GTX460 or 6850 for around £80-£90.

edit: I am assuming that you will choose the SG05 with a 450W PSU. If however you choose the 300W version the best graphics card option will be a 5770/6770. The other cards listed above will need the 450W PSU to operate.

The 6870 with Deus Ex and/or Dirt3 for ~£125 seems stonkingly good value at the moment. If you don't like the supplied games, Deus Ex will fetch £15-£20 and Dirt3 £10-£15. You don't really need much more performance for occasional use, and this card should be around twice as fast as your 5770. Sell the 5770 plus games and the upgrade will only cost you £60-£70.
