Best card for the money - 1070 ti vs 2070 Europe

So, the last couple of weeks I'm having quite a hard time choosing between the 1070 ti or rtx 2070.

I read a couple of reviews, and i would say that 1070 ti is the best card for the money, but accordingly to the passmark website the 2070 is slightly better than the 1080 ti, what made me really indecisive. I would say that the only reason why the 2070 would be better, is that nvidia launched better drives to make 2070 look better, but I'm not sure.

I want the best card for the money but like we all know the msrp around Europe isn't the best, and i got stuck between a 1070 ti for 480 € and a 2070 for 570€.

My goal is to get a card that gives me at least stable 144 fps at 1080p for the next 3 to 4 years, i play mostly esports games what doesn't take much of the gpu because i will put all the graphics to medium/low to reduce input lag.

Like i said i really don't care about spending money, if the money is well spent, with that said, the logical choice is to get a 1070 ti but i don't know if this graphics card will have stable 144 fps for next 3 to 4 years.

I found EVGA RTX 2070 Black for 519 €, MSI RTX 2070 ARMOR for €518 and Inno3D RTX 2070 Black for €504 all included Europe VAT and free Battlefield V game bundle worth about €60 which make RTX 2070 card alone much cheaper than GTX 1070 Ti for €480.

My advice is you should get RTX 2070 with Battlefield V game bundle.

Games like Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice and Wolfenstein II see RTX 2070 faster than 1080 Ti in all resolutions, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice will have DLSS support in upcoming patch which will see 40% increase in performance that will throw 1080 Ti far behind and Wolfenstein II now have Nvidia Adaptive Shading support which will see up to 7% increase in performance. Both games will be good enough to run at 1080p 144Hz. Don't think 1070 Ti will run well at 1080p 144Hz in 2019 games and beyond.

Darksiders III which released today will have DLSS support possible in 0day or upcoming patch.

I would say despite your game choice mostly being esports, I think if you are concerned about making sure you get a very stable 144 fps, the 2070 is more likely to offer that security in the next 3 - 4 years.

Not that stupid quote again. Everybody knows the 2070 is better than, 1070/Ti, 1080, vega56/64 in normal stuff all of which dont do RTX stuff anyway, so not sure why you keep posting it.

Ok, 1080p DXR Ultra on 2070 47fps in BF5
No DXR 112.3fps.
1070 96fps
1070ti 106.4fps
1080 108.7fps

So the 2070 beats the others without DXR and with it as they cant do it. The 1080 costs more and loses and cant do DXR.
And i take it you are quoting the 2070 above at 4k with DXR at 18.7fps.
For good measure the 1440p results,
2070 33.8fps with DXR, 90.9fps without
1080 84.5fps
4k results.
2070 55.3fps no DXR
1080 49.4fps
1080ti 66.1fps

All the above from BF5 Techpowerup review of 2080ti, 2080 and 2070.
