Looking to RAID 0 my new i7 build.

Looked at the WD Blue 160GB drives as the larger drives are out of stock.

How do the WD Blacks compare.

Don't need masses of space as they're for OS/Apps. Quiet performance would be ideal.

Any others to consider?

The bigger drives perform a lot better.best performers are the 500GB/1TB Samsung F3's. You could look at 320GB F1's or WD Blacks which are about 20MB/s slower.

I use 2 WD RE3 320GB drives, they are quite quick & are raid edition which means they are really designed for the job.

I got mine on the MM for £65 otherwise it would have cost about £110 for 2.
