I disagree, you are missing the main point here, girls will go to lan parties, they might not be hot but to be honest, if you are asking on a computer forum how to meet them you aren't a looker.

Get a part time job in a nightclub behind the bar. Met loads of people that way, so easy to talk to girls when you're not busy, you're constantly flirting and having a good laugh with the customers and other bar staff.
Just by the sheer amount of new people you meet that way you'll blag yourself a woman in no time.
