Always bought 2nd hand cars that are around 10 years old and fixed them myself, with me moving into a job in IT and no longer a mechanic I'm finding that it is getting quite costly not fixing the car myself these days,

wanting to go finance/lease but not really clued up,

    would love some advice

    something like:

    £300-500 deposit
    2-4 years
    £100-£200 a month.

An online report is coming back with 100/100 for credit rating (excellent)

Prefer a VAG Group car or something I can easily get an MTB in the back/on the roof.

Have a look. Mileage will affect the price you pay, so if you're doing mega miles keep that in mind.

You won't get much for 100-200pm with such a low deposit.

https://leasing.com/personal/car-leasing/ is another site that's useful for this.

The only VAG cars in your budget are VW Up, Seat Mii and Skoda Citigo and Fabia. You'll need a bigger deposit for anything more sizable.

With the deals on drivethedeal you could pick a decent seat on 0% in that budget. Leon FR or ateca SE technology maybe.

I've seen a Golf PCP offer with Marshalls - £0 down and £259 a month for 4 years. £3k deposit contribution from VW/dealer and then approx £8.5k balloon.

Consider a bigger deposit as it should open up more lease deals (3+xx profile).

Okay I've decided, I really want a caddy, anything above an 11 plate with seats in the back :p
