Best cooler for an unlocked PII X2 550

As title really. Just want some advice on coolers for my cpu. I currently have an Artic Cooler Freezer 7 Pro thats several years old and the fan doesn't attach to well. My case is a CM Dominator II lite. The ram is corasir DHX and at the moment two slots are blocked by the fan. It would be useful if I could get access to the slots again but cooloing i smore important.

What kind of budget?

Up to about £40.
My existing cooler is actually an AC Freezer 64 Pro, so it is quite old.

An Akasa Venom or Titan Fenrir will probably be plenty good enough to cool an unlocked 550.

To get noticeably better you have to spend over £50.

Gelid Tranquilo is also worth a shout, but then again might be worth the extra for a push/pull Akasa Venom.

the zalman gives me great performance and keeps the mem slots clear

Thanks for the suggestions. I've had a quick look through reviews and all seem good. I'll do a more detailed read tomorrow.

I did notice the Thermaltake Frio getting good scores in those reviews, although it may be a little noisy.
