Best Core 2 DUO & SLi Mobo?

Hi There...

Subject says it all really - been looking at the Asus P5B/W boards, but would like the chance to possibly add a 2nd nVidia card for SLi joy at a later date. As a result, I'd have to look elsewhere for a mobo.

So, any ideas?

you could use the hacked drivers or wait for the 590 sli one to hit the streets

one thing though, the p5b board has a 16x pci-express slot and a 4x pci-express slot for the second!

The P5n32-sli SE Deluxe is your only option at present.

Why is it primarily AMD motherboards that support SLi? Am I better off just forgetting about the possibility of SLi in the future, and just stick with a single card, thus opening my options with regards to decent mobos for the Conroe?

It's a combination of Nvidia's arrogance and the deal that currently exsists between ATI and Intel.

As a direct comparison, look how little choice AMD users have when it comes to Crossfire boards.
