Ok, so I want to Overclock my Phenom II x4 955 BE to more than stock (3.2)

I've been thinking of the Thermaltake Frio. I have managed to find it for £38.

Just wondering if i can get any improvement in Price/Performance.

I think the Frio is a great choice. Check out the latest CPU cooler review on Vortez (thanks to Helios1234 - he posts here too) and you can see the temp comparisons. The Frio does really well against more expensive competition. Something even cheaper might offer more price/performance, but it won't offer more outright performance for under £40. You just need to weigh up the balance of what you want.

You'll want to keep the quad below 60 deg really, aim for an OC of up to 3.8GHz and you're laughing. What is your spec? Expecting much of an improvement in anything in particular?

If your after 'choice/bang for buck' then you could also consider the Akasa AK-CC017V2 Freedom Tower CPU Cooler at £29.

I've fitted a couple and they're very impressive for the money (i have one on my 2500K). TBH there's not a lot in it - all the coolers mentioned are more than up to the job - pick one that best suits your budget and CPU/MB; you shouldn't be disappointed.
