Best cpu (quad, tri, or duo) for "garageband" software

As title. A mate has asked for the most suitable (value for money, etc) cpu for his son to use with garageband software. Any opinions?

used q6600 set up? Plenty around now i'd have thought. I'd probably recommend this to anyone looking for a VFM system that did things more tadsking that browsing.

I'm sure that GarageBand is part of iLife - which means Mac only.

didn't know this! my bad. google SW and see what min spec it want's or ask n mac section / a mac forum to see what others run it with.

mac is what you want. not value/performance for your money but definitely worth it .

garage band comes with logic pro and is pretty gash tbh

get a macbook pro with logic pro and say goodbove to garageband
