This guy knows what he is talking about. Definitely right about top DJs being a brand. I remember a DVD I watched years ago about turntablism from real DJs (can't remember the name) but was quite a good watch. Is that a lost art?

mixing is extremely hard to do perfectly, these guys just seem to be creating noise in the middle of good beats.

It's like compairing a Guitar Hero player to Paco de Lucia. The amount of skill involved in turntablism is just crazy.
