Best drum n bass / speed garage music making software?

Hi guys, looking to possibly have a dabble at making drum and bass / speed garage style music.

What would be the best software? I am using a mac, and dont think garage band is up to scratch - so was wondering what you guys use.

And I thought this thread would be better in here rather than the mac software forum as its a music based question.

Fruity loops without a doubt. Just realised i don't think they do a mac version..

Logic

Cubase does have Mac support although Logic would be your best bet for the Mac, since they bought it.
