Best Gangster Movies

Not a film, but i would highly reccomend "the wire", an hbo tv series, deals with the drug problem, right from the user to the politicians involved in the war on drugs in a city, involves the police, the drug users, dealers from street level to major players, and the political aspect of drugs and how it effects policy. One of the most entertaining, and in a way educational programs ive ever watched.
 
Once Upon a Time in America. Moves at glacial pace but it is all about the acting. The greatest gangster movie and a prime example why directors wishes should be put above the production studios.
