hi all, i was just wondering if anyone could recommend a good aftermarket vga cooler for my asus gtx480. i was looking at the Thermalright Shaman cooler for 2 reasons, excellent cooling, quietness.... but unfortunately its currently out of stock, has anyone any experience with either this or another cooler they could recommend?
thanks in advance guys!

If you aren't worried about SLI'ng in the future, then I'd look at the Accelero Xtreme Plus as I use the same one on my GTX 470 and temps barely hit 50c when playing games like BF3

hmmm looked at that, but by all accounts its a bugger to fit:confused: most vendors are saying its been discontinued now.
thanks for the reply!

I never had any issues fitting it, as it was pretty straight forward . Only issue I had was you had to buy the VRM sinks separately.

The AC Accelero XTREME Plus II comes with all the VRM stuff, and definitely isn't discontinued

That's the one I got. Then on Here I had to order the accessory kit for my 470 as it didn't come with it. I guess it depends on who you get it from. Apart from that, its a fantastic cooler. Im pretty sure someone on here modded it to get 2x5870 in crossfire with them too

there is a supposed to be a new revision coming out for various cards like 470, 480, 570 etc that does not need a fitting kit anymore it comes as an all in one. I was told it would be released September by AC but not seen it yet.
