So happy days my i3 530 is about to be replaced with a 2500K
So now I'm looking to get a good air cooling unit to keep it cool with a mild overclock max 4.5Ghz.
Criteria:
- I would like something "small" so don't go recommending something like the ludicrous Noctua DH14.
- I will be (regardless of opinion!) replacing whatever fan(s) come with it with 2x Xigmatek 120mm XLF fans (orange) as colour coding is priority in this build. So this point is the cooler needs to be good not just due to its supplied fans. **
** The second point is why I ruled out the Thermaltake Frio as its performance with anything other than its ridiculous 2.5K RPM stock fans is poor **
At present this only leaves me (in terms of OCUK stock) with the CoolerMaster 212 any opinions on this, will it handle a mild stock voltage overclock?
