Looking into ISPs for my new flat next year. Right now I'm with plusnet and they suck. I basically want no limits at a decent price. TV package suggestions welcome.

what are your experiences/recommendations?

I heard prodigy net were good but i dont know much about them.

thanks

Joe

Are you or will you be living in a cabled area?

If you're looking for an ADSL provider the "best" are generally considered to be:

Eclipse, Zen, Nildram and Pipex.

All have restrictions (advertised or non-advertised). All efficiently managed ISPs will have limitations of some description.

i've just moved from blueyonder to bulldog.

I'm VERY happy with bulldog's service

with bulldog you get the odd billing errors and sometimes the odd cs mistakes but you get the raw 8mbit speed as advertised.

for raw speed bulldog.

Unless you can get cable or an LLU service (Samknows is your friend, especially for the latter), you're screwed as far as cheap unlimited services go.

As for TV you're looking at Sky, whatever cable service is available, or Freeview. If you're really lucky, there's a Homechoice LLU service that offers TV over the ADSL.

As ever, ADSLguide is your friend, and look around - these threads aren't exactly rare...

Can't rate freedom2surf highly enough. They've stopped offering an unlimited service but can get a pretty decent 50Gig cap with an additional 50Gig not costing muc more for £24 a month on 8 Meg.

Customer service is second to none.
