Hi OcUK, bit of a challenge for you :)

Im currently at the end of my contract and thus its new phone time. I was tempted by the iPhone 3GS but as im sure a much better update will be coming out next june i think i shall wait.
I therefore am looking for the best 12month contract with unlimited internet that anyone has/can find for me.

I was looking at the the blackberry curve 8900 which i can get for around £30pm after cashback etc with the bis service and a free phone. This seems very tempting to me but can anyone recommend anything else? :)

Im coming from a n95 8gb if that helps (which was useless for internet although was 3g so maybe id miss that?) and looking at paying max £35pm (less the better) with a free phone. I rarely spend more than 200 min 250 text, and would prefer not to be on orange due to dodgy signal near me.

Many thanks in advance

BA

That looks great! Does that mean 3gb allowance a month and if so is that enough you reckon?
Also looking at the price plan its not push email, is this a problem or as its a google phone im assuming it will pick up my gmail instantly?

Sorry if these are silly questions :)

It should be able to do Push email. Best to ask that in the big HTC Hero thread as they are the same phone.

It's 3gb/month. To put this in perspective, O2 gives 200mb/month, Orange/Voda 500mb/month and T-Mobile gives 1gb/month.
Because the G2 is T-Mobile's flagship phone, they give you 3gb ;)

Sounds pretty much perfect then! Ill see if voda can better the offer on a blackberry but if not ill probs go with that... thanks for the tip :)

Any other suggestions by anyone?

Check out 02 simplicity which is a pay montly deal (can cancel at anytime with 30 days notice).
I've got a touch HD and only really use it for the web with very little calls/texts, so I simply PAYG with the £7 monthly web bolt on. It's supposedly around 250mb limit, but I have data connection on (hsdpa) all the time and constantly check email accounts, rss feeds etc and have had no issues.
