Best Motherboard For Intel i7-2600k For Around £100? (Gaming Machine)

Hi all

I'm after a decent mid-range motherboard around the £100 mark for the intel i7 2600k. Planning to get a high end graphics card to hopefully build a high-end gaming rig.

I have my eyes on the ASUS P8P67 but is it worth paying £125 - £150 to get a motherboard with more performance (and features) or is £100 the sweet-spot?

I seem to have a thing for ASUS at the moment, hopefully there's an ASUS MB of my dreams out there!

Sorry haven't changed my rig for 4 years hence i am VERY out of touch with the hardware scene.

the asrock extreme4 gen3 seems to be the one of choice but is £155

If your new build is for gaming, you want the i5 2500k, not the i7 ?

if you haven't already got the 2600k go with a 2500k and put the extra money towards an asrock extreme4 gen3.
