Best motherboard for oc'ing an Opteron 165

I currently have an Asus A8N Sli Premium, latest bios 1302 (I think) but it really does not like the fsb being above 280. And because the 165 chip has a multiplier of 9 it's making overclocking a pain in the behind. It's prime stable at 2.8ghz (312fsb) running the lowest divider on the memory (200), 156Mhz @ 2-3-3-6 2T. If I change the timing to 1T, the computer freezes even when the ram is running at 156Mhz. It's 2GB Corsair 3200 Cas 2. It also freezes if I boot the computer with any other divider other than the lowest one. Even upping the voltages don't make a difference, and my 600W Seasonic is more than enough. I've come to the conclusion that this motherboard is holding me back.

Can anyone recommend me a motherboard that doesn't appear to suffer problems with the fsb above 280?

Surely some kind of DFI is what you need.

I knew I should have went with DFI in the first place.

Any particular model though? Preferably one that I could easily change the noisy chipset fan.
