Best National Tyre Shop/fitters

Ok all.

The wife's 1.2 punto needs some new tyres. I'm tempted to get the lot replaced as they are around 3mm and below. 1 of them deffo needs changing as its got a nail in it (fluffing council and lack of road sweepers!!)

I'm in Coventry and there are loads of the national chain types of tyre place.

So which tyre (I'm after a grippy safe tyre for her, no need for street racing performance!)

Which tyre shop?

How much should I expect to pay per tyre for a decent one?

Phone around your local independent places and the main national places, they usually offer a price match, yellow pages is the best place to start for numbers. Varies from region to region. Some of the more local places can be very competative.

I used e-tyres with regards to the shop question. Paid online, they came to my house and changed the tyres there.

I used e-tyres recently and cannot recommend them enough. Cheaper than the usual suspects everywhere in my town Quickfit etc. and you get the convinience of them coming to your house/work to do it.
