There are quite a few on google, but I don't want to risk ordering from somewhere thats going to take 5+ days to actually send my parts

with motocross/offroad biking, whats the prefered material for airfilters? (paper, cotton, foam etc)

Foam - all the modern MX bikes I've ever seen take foam filters, presumably some of the dual sports take regular filters, but all the competition bikes I've seen use foam ones. Although I did see a guy once using paper filters on a CRF450, but that's deffo a rarity.

there is always a lot of debate over filters and filter materials. ive long believed that foam has to be amongst the best for actually filtration due to the number of motocross bikes ive seen with foam filters... racing off road, i imagine dirt ingress is a critical matter.

i recent sold a K&N that i took out of my car the minute i saw the stupidly large holes in the cotton gauze. as a filter... its primary function is to filter!

The filter in an MX bike will be taken out, cleaned, re-oiled and replaced for every single ride, so reusability is a big part of it.

youre from southend too! i live near the airport.

if you had seen the K&N that came in my golf you would have laughed then cried. some of the holes were quite easily 1mm across.
