I phoned Orange yesterday to discuss changing tariff.
Whilst on hold some pleasant woman said I was entitled to the same tariffs as new customers.
The hard-to-understand guy I got through to told me that I was not and wasn't able to offer me any sort of package for my now changed requirements- I was happy to pay more money if need be!
Also, if you ring it says to press 4 to change your call plan. And this goes to a further sub-menu with no call plan option at all.
