When it comes to wedges I think the McCain slightly spiced ones are top tier! Always need an extra 5-10 minutes cooking times though.I like Mccain home fries, their naked chips and Co-op (not frozen) triple cooked thick cut chips. Co-op spicy wedges are okay too.
Everyone knows this. They probably asked which oven chips because they're healthier than fried.I reckon they are all pretty horrible if I'm honest.
You just can't beat deep frying for chips.
I'd just have rice over oven chips for carbs, or mash/boiled potatoes etc, lots of alternatives.
Seconded. Like all oven chips, the suggested cooking time is way too short, but as long as you ignore that and just cook them until they're crispy, they're really nice.Albert Bartlett Rooster chips are my goto. Get lovely and crispy.
this tbh tried over last few years to get a decent bag of oven chips and 99.9 percent are always garbage. tripple cooked mccain ones were sorta passable but ended up just doing it the proper way and getting a new fryer and doing em in oil. nothing beats this tbh.I reckon they are all pretty horrible if I'm honest.

They do look pretty epic to be fair.. Where can they be found?Everyone knows this. They probably asked which oven chips because they're healthier than fried.
I tried these the other day, very nice.
They're good but they're no chip replacement.Telling you, these! https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/307358280
