So... what are the weak points the 2.7T?

Well on the standard cars Turbos and Clutch/Flywheel issues are things that stand out, but of course in the case of a 500BHP example both of those weak points will have been replaced with at least RS4 components. Design wise I here the rods are an issue much past 500 at the wheels
By all accounts of the Audi Techs I spoke to when I was first considering one (in A6 guise) they are pretty reliable, the S4s and RS4s I saw come in where only for boost and vacuum leaks which were easily sorted. Its just that the front end or the entire engine has to come out for a surprising number of jobs which I imagine could become an issue if you were paying someone else to do the work.
Very underrated platform I think, don't K04'd B5 S4s get damn close to the double ton on a run at Burnthorpe? Certainly appeal to me personally a lot more than an Impreza or Evo. The only other 4dr I can think of that can make that sort of power reliably for the money is a Toyota Aristo with a massive single turbo strapped on
