Düsseldorf

Several hundred bars all in walking distance in the altstadt by the river. Good airport 10 mins and 2 EUR from town centre, good beer. Tis a pretty popular stag destination these days. Doesn't have the range of clubs that Berlin offers but there are places for most tastes if you know where to look.

Birmingham is a nice night out, around Broad Street and Brindley Place and plenty of hotels around to stay at.

I work with Dutch guy who lives near the German border. He reckons his flight back on Friday to Dusseldorf always has lots of stag dos and groups of blokes on board.

Birmingham is quite a nice place for a night out but no where near Broad Street!

Actually I suppose for a stag do it's perfect.

Chilli sauce activities were awful. The bar "guide" was shocking - some Russian girl with her fella who appeared and left often. The second night we binned her and did our own thing. The strip club was shocking also.

Germans don't really like the British.
Some bars won't let you in/say private function. Baring in mind we were all professionals in our 20's/30's with a couple of k in cash between us, it was rather frustrating.

I think somewhere with a nightlife centre is better, I.e prague. However we had a great time.

It's taken a turn....

1 person can't make the date.
3 can't make the Friday ruling out anywhere overseas.
So that's about 6 on Friday with 10 possible on Saturday.

This is an absolute nightmare to sort!

So far all I've got is:
Possibly party bus to Birmingham - only 30miles away though...
Meal out on Broad Street
Hit the pubs on Broad Street, maybe casinos, clubs etc.
Brunch then catch train back Sunday.

A pretty crap affair tbh. If it was down to me a 3 day weekend in Prague but only 6 maybe could make it.

In the end a lot of those guys probably just want a place to drink and probably won't remember much anyway. Do the stag locally where everyone can attend and then arrange a separate random trip at a later point in the year where a few of you can go and have a laugh.
